Welcome to the 15 Cities, 45 Days web page. Here you can follow my travels across the United States, from Phoenix to Boston, and back again. From June 8th to July 23rd, follow me as I make my way via flight and train across fifteen U.S. cities, in a period of forty-five days, with the goal of finding stories without homes. So, what does that mean exactly? In each metropolis, I'll shadow/hang out with a homeless member of society for 24-48 hours. I'll join the person in sleeping on the streets, eat with them by whichever means possible, and generally live with them for that two day period. In the process, I'll be listening to the stories they tell, taking notes, and hoping to share some of their tales in a coming docufiction book project. I'm not pretending to be homeless. I come from a loving and helpful family, as well as a stable living situation. But I'm not simply compiling research either. Instead of documenting the people I encounter, I hope more to learn from their experiences, to listen to their stories, to believe some of their lies. Ultimately, I'm looking to share their stories. On this page you can follow the people I meet, catch a glimpse of how different regions of the United States treat homelessness, and meet some of the people I encounter. Please take the time to share this page with me in an open dialogue. Thanks, Tyler
